Safe and comfortable for all levels of adventurers, the HomeFree is a 2017 Kingfisher Destination 3025. With its low profile and a overall length of 36 feet, she is stable and solid on the water. The forced air heated cabin is finished and insulated (no cold bare metal) to keep you comfortable while offering a 360 degree view. Pressurized hot and cold water, refrigerator/freezer, stove and an indoor heated head, round out the interior. The rear deck is a wide open 10' x 14' sightseeing or fishing area which also includes a barbecue. For longer excursions we encourage our guests to bring something to grill.  The easily accessible bow deck has high rails for safely viewing whales, sea lions, eagles, bears, glaciers or just basking in the sun. (yes, it is sunny and warm much of the time in summer).

 Powered by meticulously maintained twin Yamaha 200HP fuel injected outboards it has a top cruising speed of 40+ knots. We rarely approach that speed, but it is nice to have it available when needed. She is equipped with 4 different types of sonar detection. downscan, sidescan, structurescan and forward scan. While the first three of these provide depth and fish locating under, to the side and rear of the boat, forward scan allows us to see the depths and obstructions to 300 feet deep up to 300 yards forward of our bow. We have always thought it critical in Alaska waters to see what is in front of our boat as well as below and behind our boat. This technology allows us to maneuver safely in the small coves and bays that hold some of the most memorable views and exciting discoveries in Alaska. The "HomeFree" is also equipped with 4G radar for extra safety and a Zodiac tender with motor to explore the shoreline and provide an extra layer of protection for our passengers.
